BRTISH-ISRAEL CHURCH OF GOD 6 Hawstead Cres Brooklin, Ontario Canada L1M 2M5

Dear Friends in Christ Jesus,

We would like to first ask all those who feel they do not want to be part of our mailing list to please contact Curt Winkle at curtwinkle@hotmail.com We will immediately take you off the list. Reason being:

  1. We do not want people, who do not want to be on this list to receive our newsletters.
  2. The Hosting company accused us of sending out spam, and threatened to shut our site down. We explained it to them, and so they will not shut the site down, but told us to clean up the mailing list so no complaints will happen again.

Ladies and gentlemen, this work has made great strides in the nearly 6 years that we have been on the Net. As you can see, we are not going anywhere! We plan to be here for a long time. The blessing God has made with our one site is incredible. Now, we want to take it to the next level!

All this, we have basically done on a part time basis. Those involved have full time jobs and family, and try to do the work with whatever time they have. Now we would like to get the ministry going full time.

Pastor Winkle has informed me that we have over 600 people on our e-mail list. Think of it! If everyone of those people gave a tithe of 10 dollars a month what we could accomplish! With 20 dollars! The work could actually have an operating budget and go on radio and minister full time!

We need your help. But it is for those who “giveth it willingly with his heart” (Ex 25:2).

When the children of Israel were in the wilderness and it was time for the tabernacle to be built, God said, “Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take my offering…And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them.” (Ex 25:1,8). The Tabernacle was the place where God’s work took place, the work of salvation!

The children of Israel responded, “And they came, every one whose heart stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing, and they brought the LORD’S offering to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all his service, and for the holy garments.

“And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing hearted, and brought bracelets, and earrings, and rings, and tablets, all jewels of gold: and every man that offered offered an offering of gold unto the LORD (Ex 35:21-22). It got to the point where Moses had to turn back the people because it was just too much for them to handle with all the offerings, “…The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work, which the LORD commanded to make.

“And Moses gave commandment, and they caused it to be proclaimed throughout the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman make any more work for the offering of the sanctuary…”(Ex 36:5-6). I find it interesting that people who go see sports competitions and movies, and other things that pass for entertainment, not to mention casinos, the huge amounts of money they make. Why? Because this is what people want, the demand is there. What of the work of God? We are building the tabernacle, which is the church of God, see Ephesians 2:21-22? Many people I have talked to want this site on the internet and to preach the gospel. Will you support it the way the world supports their interests?

The Lord builds the house. He gave wisdom to them so they can build it, see Ex 36:1-2.God put it in their hearts to give, and their were willing and gave. God builds and we must labour in it with the Lord, “For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.” (1 Corinthians 3:9). I pray God will put it in your hearts to give, to build the Tabernacle of God, his church. One time donations are fine, but truly we need committed partners and tithes on a monthly basis for the work to go on from here. Donations can be made at our website at www.british-israel.ca Or you can also send them to our address which is at the top of the Newsletter.

Pastor Curt has also a message, he says, “Not just your money, not all can give that. BIR needs DJ’s, writers, local current events from around the globe, and ministers. Most of all, ministers. So few of us are actually doing the physical work needed. Ministry is not about canned sermons and cutesy holidays that make us feel good. We must teach of the rewards that come from doing wrong as well as right and that which falls unto those that refuse to do anything. Give how you can and give of your heart. If it isn’t of you, we don’t want it from you. Be a part of the Kingdom, NOT just in a kingdom.” God bless you all,
