Sanhedrin Re-established in Israel

The Sanhedrin has been re-established in Israel. The Sanhedrin is a “religious assembly that convened in one of the Holy Temple chambers in Jerusalem, comprised 71 sages and existed during the Tannaitic period, from several decades before the Common Era until roughly 425 C.E.” (.israelnationalnews.com).

This body “lined up at the foot of the Temple Mount Monday morning. [The word s'muchim comes from the same root as s'michah, , rabbinic ordination.] The men, many ascending the Temple Mount for the first time, had immersed in mikvaot (ritual baths) that morning, and planned to ascend as a group.” (israelnationalnews.com)

Those behind the revival of the Sanhedrin stress that the revival of the legal body is “not optional,” but mandated by the Torah. “We don’t have a choice,” says Rabbi Richman. “It is a religious mandate for us to establish a Sanhedrin.”

The Sanhedrin was reestablished through the ordination of one rabbi agreed upon by many prominent rabbis in Israel and approved as “fitting to serve” by former Chief Sefardi Rabbi Ovadiah Yosef and leading Ashkenazi Rabbi Yosef Shalom Elyashiv. That rabbi, who is then considered to have received authentic ordination as handed down from Moses, was then able to give ordination to 70 others, making up the quorum of 71 necessary for the Sanhedrin.

The Sanhedrin’s goals are to re-establish the temple sacrifices and the rebuilding of the temple on Mt Moriah.

World Net Daily reports, ” just a few weeks after the Sanhedrin’s re-establishment, another enormously important development took place. The religious sages began to consider the rebuilding of the Temple and reinstitution of ancient animal sacrifices as prescribed in the Law of Moses.

The first step toward facilitating this monumental endeavor was to seek to determine the exact location of the Temple’s foundation. Sanhedrin spokesman Rabbi Chaim Richman told Arutz-7:

It is appropriate that the Sanhedrin convened to discuss this lofty matter of the Temple’s location this week … the Sanhedrin continues to move toward strengthening the nation of Israel.

As all these things happen all around us, the Sanhedrin is researching ways to renew the deepest roots of our faith – to renew Temple service, reunite Jewish legal tradition and inspire the Jewish people to aspire to greatness. Our people have one path before us, and we will continue to march toward our destiny. ”

The Bible says that the Temple daily sacrifices will be happening just before the Great Tribulation, and then will come to a halt because of a great spiritual leader that will make the temple his dwelling place setting up the Abomination of Desolation.

The Scriptures says, “And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.” (Daniel 12:1). Speaking of the Tribulation in verse 1 and 2, the daily sacrifice is taken and the abomination is set up, there shall be 3 and a half years of tribulation. The abomination will be the trigger that will set off the greatest time of trouble ever on Israel.

Jesus said, “When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.” Matthew 24:15-16, 20-21). Notice the Sabbath is re-established and the “holy Place” is on the temple Mount.

The Abomination that will be set up, is described in 2 Thessalonians 2. The Apotsle Paul spoke of a great “falling away” and that the “man of sin” will be revealed.” This Leader ‘Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” (v.4). He will set himself up in God’s temple saying he IS GOD! This abomination will trigger the great Tribulation. May we pray that God will have mercy on those who follow him, and that the message will go out to all of Israel.

Pope Seeks Global Authority

An encyclical is the highest form of papal writing and gives the clearest indication to the world’s 1.1 billion Catholics as well as non-Catholics of what the pope and the Vatican think about specific social and moral issues.

Recently the Pope called for an ” urgent need of a true world political authority” The Pope wants a world government to handle the economy with of course “Christian [Catholic]” values.

Interesting that the Pope is concerned with the economy. The Bible says that people will not able to make a living “buy or sell” with out a “mark” issued by the second beast that comes from the earth. This mark is Sunday, and the Catholic holidays. In ancient times those who kept the Sabbath [God's Mark] were persecuted and could not make a living, as some do today. The Pope is concerned about the economy, and wants it to be run the Catholic way, soon he will get the chance, and the Mark of Sunday will be enforced once again.

Iranian Crisis, USA & Israel.

Now that we see violence on the streets of Iran, what does this mean for Israel and the Untied States?

Bible prophecy reveals that “tidings” out of the North and the East shall “trouble” the King of the North [The President of the USA]. Because of this trouble, he will plant the “tabernacles of his palace” [military basis] in the holy land.

In our booklet “Middle east in Prophecy.” The bible reveals that Persia would be the place where these “tidings” would come from. Old Persia consists of Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Iran. These are the countries that we are dealing with today.

Pakistan and Afghanistan fulfilled Daniel 11:44 with this war on terorrism. But Daniel 11:45 will be fulfilled by Iran.

Iran has its “proxy armies” in Lebanon, Syria, and Palestine fighting its battles with Israel. These armies are of course Hizbullah and Hamas. Iran has full interest in destroying Israel and taking over the holy land. Pakistan and Afghanistan show no interst at all. Therefore the obvious country in old Persia that will fulfill this prophecy with any doubt is Iran.

Has the “KIng of the North” the President of the USA made Iran top priority in his foreign policy? Yes!

Iran now “has become a regional superpower under Ahmadinejad, increasingly capable of launching a devastating attack on Israel.” (Same old questions and no new answers By Abdel Bari Atwan, Special to Gulf News Published: June 20, 2009, 22:38). With the elections in turmoil, this does not mean Iran will stop trying to aquire Nuclear weapons. Or that that the religious leaders stop making policies. Not at all!

These protest really, is more about its internal problems than its foreign policies with other countries. Iranians want more freedoms, of speech, press, marriage, etc…The USA and Israel is another matter.

Pentagon Confirms Iran Missile Success – CBS News

The article in the Link below confirms that Iran had a sucessful missile test. The article says that these missiles are capable of “reaching Israel and U.S. Mideast bases.”

It will not be long until Iran has nuclear capabilities, probably between 2010 and 2015 according to CIA estimates.

“Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, apppearing Wednesday before the Senate Appropriations Committee, said that a nuclear-armed Iran is ‘going to spark an arms race”‘ in the Middle East.” If this occurs, everyone knows Israel will be the prime target of Iran to annihilate Israel out of Palestine. Will the USA sit back and do Nothing? Absolutely Not! We are getting closer to the time when the “King of the North” the President of the USA will give the order to build military bases and occupy Israel to protect them from the “North and the East.” It’s all a question of time when these prophecies will be fulfilled.

Pope will visit Islamic shrine on Jerusalem’s Temple Mount

Pope Benedict XVI will visit the Dome of the Rock, the Islamic shrine on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, during his May visit there, the papal nuncio has disclosed. Archbishop Antonio Franco said that it had been “agreed in principle” that the Pontiff, accompanied by Islamic leaders, would enter the ancient building marking the spot from which, according to Muslim belief, Mohammed ascended to heaven. The Pontiff might also visit the Al-Aqsa mosque, which adjacent to the Dome of the Rock. A papal visit to the Temple Mount– the site of many religious clashes– will undoubtedly call for heavy security measures.
